About Commack, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Commack is a Long Island hamlet located in Suffolk County, New York, and as of 2010, the estimated population was 36,200. This area is home to the Commack Methodist Church, the oldest Methodist church in the state which was built in 1789. Like most unincorporated areas on Long Island, Commack is suburbanized but does not have a walkable downtown area or “Main Street.” The climate of Commack is similar to other Northeastern coastal areas, and while winters are cool and wet, summers are usually humid and warm. Its location on the Atlantic also limits the severity and frequency of thunderstorms.
Commack is home to several attractions that may appeal to area visitors or residents. Families may enjoy spending time at the Suffolk Y JCC, Hoyt Farm Town Park, or LazerLand. People who enjoy bowling may like to spend an evening at AMF Commack Vet Lanes, and other nightlife opportunities include a trip to FELT Billiards and Bar.
